Starting June 1, 2021...my self and 26+ volunteers will be running 2.6 miles a day for 26 straight days in memory of Chase Kowalski and his classmates & teachers who were taken from us way too early during the Sandy Hook Tragedy on December 14, 2012.

Chase's family has choose to measure their life in love...and have pledged to keep his memory alive through a youth triathlon program called Race4Chase. This free program allows 70+ young athletes in Southington and Cheshire to train for 6-weeks and compete in a real triathlon on July 31, 2021. Chase completed in his first triathlon in the fall of 2012 and now his memory lives on in the young athletes he inspires each summer.

Please consider making a donation to help support the Race4Chase program and keep Chase's memory alive and allow 70+ children to train, increase their self-confidence, exercise, build friendships and compete...just as Chase would have wanted!

Thanks for considering and thanks for measuring your life in love! - Mark Pooler

Story

Starting June 1st and going until June 26th, the Southington Community YMCA we will have 26 volunteers doing running/swimming/biking/walking for 2.6 miles per day or some sort of physical exercise for 26 minutes in memory of the 26 lives lost in the Sandy Hook shooting. Funds raised help us honor Chase Kowalski by providing a FREE triathlon camp for kids aged 6-12.

The Race4Chase program, which was created by the Kowalski Family in memory of their son Chase, who was tragically killed at Sandy Hook. The FREE 6 Week Triathlon Camp provides a safe, healthy, non-competitive environment to discover the sport! It brings together kids of all different backgrounds and educates them about how to adopt a healthy lifestyle, coaches them to develop a foundation of athletic skills, and inspires them to aim high in sports and in life!

Please help us honor Chase's memory and create opportunities for our other youth in our community.
