Story
In traditional Native American teaching, it is said that each time you heal someone, you give away a piece of yourself until, at some point, you will require healing. Those of us who are caregivers, whether for a family member or professional capacity, provide "healing" every day. The term Compassion Fatigue describes the physical, emotional, and spiritual exhaustion that results from caring for others.
