Teah and April, a dedicated daughter-and-mother team, proudly serve as the Founders of Stuck In The Middle (SITM). Their personal journey and deep understanding of what children experience during divorce and other adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) inspired them to create SITM.

They witnessed firsthand how limited resources, social stigma, and emotional strain can leave families without the support they need. Determined to change that, they developed educational programs such as “The MisEducation and Education in Mental Health” and a series of family-centered workshops focused on emotional regulation, grief, co-parenting, intergenerational trauma, and child development.

SITM empowers parents and caregivers with the tools to understand a child’s emotional world and mental development during times of family transition. Teah and April emphasize the importance of healing one’s own trauma as the first step in nurturing emotionally resilient children.

Through compassion, education, and collaboration, they are building a community where families can grow stronger together—placing children’s well-being at the heart of every conversation.
