Every year, lives are lost to something preventable.

Drowning is one of the leading causes of death for children, and the risk is significantly higher in underserved and Black communities. Not because families don’t care, but because access to swim education and water safety resources has been limited for generations.

SWYM was created to change that.

At SWYM, we believe water safety is a life skill every child deserves. Not someday. Not when it’s convenient. Now.

Why This Matters

A child who knows water safety is a child with a better chance at life.

The truth is simple. Education saves lives. Awareness saves lives. Access saves lives.

And right now, too many families are missing all three.
