Target Evolution has been making significant strides in providing valuable opportunities for youth development since its inception in 2011. We have successfully trained and empowered over 1700 young minds in the last two years, fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship and a commitment to lifelong learning through our online and onsite Teen Biz Camp and Teen Biz Pop-Up Shop programs.

In 2019, we achieved a historic milestone by establishing our Teen Biz Pop-Up Shop called “Trail Blaze”, a series of physical retail stores located in upscale shopping malls, making us the only youth program globally with such a distinctive presence. These shops featured products created by youth and teen entrepreneurs aged 12-19, providing a unique platform to showcase their talents and gain real-world business experience.

Our impact goes beyond commerce. With a focus on building career skills and mentorship. After successfully completing our Teen Biz Camp program, we also help our students earn an average of $500-$700 per month or more in our Teen Biz Pop-Up Shops. We’ve also created The Teen Biz Box, which includes The Teen Biz Workbook, product inventory, and art supplies, enabling youth participants aged 12 to 18 to create a product-based business with startup inventory included and earn up to $150, building practical business skills and confidence. Participants actively engage in entrepreneurship education and hands-on activities by crafting and selling products such as friendship bracelets, kraft notebooks, or ceramic coasters.

Target Evolution has a dedicated daily operations team of seven and a Board of Directors comprising seven members and three Advisory Board members, bringing over 200 years of combined experience in education, business, nonprofit management, and finance. Their expertise underscores the organization's commitment to excellence and sustainable impact.

In response to the evolving needs of out-of-school youth, Target Evolution adapted its Teen Biz Camp program in 2020 for ages 18-24. Through a partnership with Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas and Workforce Solutions North Central Texas, the organization launched BizWorks. This program specifically targets "disadvantaged" and/or "out of school" youth ages 16-24, showcasing Target Evolution's commitment to inclusivity and addressing the needs of diverse communities.

Target Evolution's overarching mission is to simplify and make entrepreneurship accessible to teens from low-income communities, emphasizing financial literacy, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The organization recognizes the transformative power of youth-led businesses in contributing to family income, creating employment opportunities for other children, and fostering self-sufficiency among young adults.
