OUR MISSION

The mission of the Texas Black Caucus Foundation is to strengthen communities across Texas through education, civic engagement, leadership development, research, and programs that expand opportunity and improve quality of life.

We connect people with the knowledge, resources, and opportunities to participate, lead, and create meaningful change in their communities.

ABOUT US

The Texas Black Caucus Foundation (TBCF) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization committed to helping build stronger, more informed, and more engaged communities across Texas.

We believe lasting change requires more than identifying the challenges facing our communities—it requires investing in people and creating pathways to action.

Through educational initiatives, scholarships and leadership development, civic engagement, research, community partnerships, and programs such as Freedom Rising 2026, TBCF works to turn information into opportunity and community engagement into measurable impact.

Our work brings together students, families, community leaders, faith institutions, civic and professional organizations, businesses, and philanthropic partners around a common purpose: equipping Texans with the tools and resources they need to thrive and helping communities build the capacity to shape their own futures.

YOUR SUPPORT PUTS THE MISSION INTO ACTION

Your investment helps TBCF educate, equip, connect, and mobilize communities across Texas—from developing the next generation of leaders and expanding educational opportunity to strengthening civic participation and providing resources that help communities respond to the issues affecting their everyday lives.

When you invest in the Texas Black Caucus Foundation, you're not simply supporting a program. You're investing in people, strengthening communities, and helping build a Texas where opportunity reaches more of us.

Give today. Help us turn opportunity into impact.
