One runway. One stage. One night that funds second chances.
On Thursday, October 22nd, ReBloom presents The Edit in the gardens at Historic London Town. Models from the ReBloom community and men and women from MDRRC's reentry program walk together across three acts.

The Reset. The moment they stop living the story they were handed.
The Rebuild. The work of putting a new life together, piece by piece.
The Reveal. Stepping fully into who they've become.

The evening opens with a garden cocktail hour and marketplace, moves into the runway show, and closes with dessert, live music, and a chance to invest directly in second chances.

Live music by Marcus Johnson
A Billboard charting independent jazz artist with more than 15 albums and nearly 20 years on stage. Marcus performs with his full band: smooth jazz and R&B, from throwbacks to current hits.

Why it matters
Reentry is not a single service. People coming home from incarceration are writing a new chapter, often with fewer resources and less support than most. Every ticket, sponsorship, and gift supports MDRRC, which helps people rebuild through:

Individualized case management that stays with people through the long road of reentry
Driver's education
Digital literacy training and a community computer lab
GED assistance
HVAC certification support through Anne Arundel Community College, plus connections to trade and CDL training partners
Paid conservation work and certifications
Emergency help with transportation, documents, and stabilization costs
Housing through Val-Vet, the housing nonprofit MDRRC helped establish, with wraparound support from MDRRC

In 2025, MDRRC served more than 125 people through case management, helped more than 40 complete driver's education, and invested more than $97,000 directly in participants. Through GreenLift, its green workforce development program, crews planted more than 5,000 trees and 50+ participants earned their Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional certification.
