The People’s Free Boutique by Quirk is a dignity-centered mutual aid project operating in Downtown Los Angeles.

Founded after the January 2025 LA wildfires, we provide free, styled clothing and personal care essentials to disaster survivors, displaced families, and unhoused neighbors — helping restore not just wardrobes, but identity, agency, and hope.

Our boutique is proudly AAPI-led and fiscally supported by Well Cloth’d Inc., a Black woman-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to clothing equity and community resilience.

Powered by a volunteer team made up of survivors and community members from all backgrounds, we are committed to inclusive, trauma-informed, barrier-free support — because fashion isn't frivolous; it’s a fundamental tool for recovery.

We operate under the umbrella of Couture Zen, using fashion, sustainability, and storytelling to drive tangible change and empower communities at every stage of healing.
