I’m Jamielee Bollum, married to the love of my life, Tyler Bollum. Together, we have five beautiful children.

The story I want to share today starts in February of 2022 at a high risk OBGYN office at the University of California San Diego. My husband and I sat in the office, staring ahead blankly as the doctor’s words rambled quickly about the room. All I remember hearing amidst the noise were three significant phrases, "your baby has trisomy18," "not compatible with life," and "abort today." Before leaving the room, the doctor spoke; “We‘ll give you two sometime to discuss. Keep in mind our office closes in a couple hours so if you’d like the procedure done here today, we need to move quickly.” We left the office that day in utter shock and despair, begging God to fix this. We also left that day with our daughter safely in my womb. We spent the next 4 months loving our baby girl and sharing her with the world via TikTok and other social media platforms. Tyler and I spent ample time checking her heartbeat and measuring my belly every night. We spent hours just listening to her perfect heart thump away.

Raelynn was born on June 1, 2022. Throughout my entire pregnancy journey, God never stopped healing her anomalies. Raelynn lived for 30 beautiful hours in the arms of her siblings, grandparents, Daddy, and me. She passed in the wee hours of the morning on June 3, 2022. We were told that it would be a miracle to meet her while she was still alive. Today, we know it was God’s divine intervention that gave Raelynn life.

I was baptized two months before Raelynn came into this world, and with this came a newfound understanding that I was sinner in need of saving. By God's perfect grace, I vowed on that day to follow Jesus for the rest of my days. My husband came to know Jesus Christ and was baptized three months after Raelynn went to be with Jesus.

On June 3, 2024, we answered the call into ministry. We began the early workings of the RaelynnDixie Project to help other families going through miscarriage, crisis pregnancy, and infant loss to find the light that is Jesus.
