COVID Precautions FAQ: 2021 Trans Advocacy Awards
Will the event still be held in person?
Yes! We’re looking forward to being together in person again and are making informed decisions regarding safety at the 2021 Trans Advocacy Awards based on state mandates and guidance from the CDC. We are implementing additional safety measures such as providing hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue, requiring full vaccinations and masks for all event and venue staff, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
Will proof of vaccination be required?
Yes. Per New York City’s vaccination mandate, all individuals will be required to show proof of vaccination upon entry to the Prince George Ballroom. No one will be allowed into our event without proof of completed/full vaccination. We will accept:
● CDC Vaccination Card (or photocopy)
● NYC COVID Safe App
● Excelsior Pass (Available for NY Residents only), plus photo ID
● NYC Vaccination record or other official immunization record within or outside the U.S., plus photo ID
Will social distancing be possible?
Yes! We have ensured all guests attending the event will have ample space during the cocktail reception and seated dinner. During the dinner portion of the evening, all tables will be distanced to provide space amongst guests. Additionally, we are capping attendance at 50% of the Prince George Ballroom’s capacity.
Will masks be required?
Yes. Due to the Prince George Ballroom’s mask policy, we require masks to be worn except when at your dinner table, or when actively consuming food and beverages at the cocktail reception. We ask that guests carry a mask at all times. Should any guests not bring their own mask, a mask will be provided by the Prince George Ballroom.
