Hi friends and family! As some of you may already know, in fall of 2018 I joined a club on campus called Mentorship at UCLA. Over the past two and a half years, I have had the pleasure of mentoring an amazing young girl in Elementary School, and this school year I am proud to be a member of the executive committee along with 8 other UCLA students for the second year in a row. As a mentor, not only am I able to impact the life of my mentee, a 4th grader (now 6th grader!) from an underprivileged community in Northern Hollywood, but I also learn so much about enjoying the little moments in life from sharing precious memories with her. This school year, I am able to continue building my relationship as her mentor on my own time, while working with the rest of committee to organize and program all of our events and improve the club to be the best it can absolutely be!

As a member of Mentorship at UCLA, I am fundraising money to go toward our high school scholarship awards. Every year, the money we raise is given directly back to the high school seniors in our program to assist them in financing their dreams. Many of our mentees have been in this program for years, developing and growing their passions, exploring new interests, and learning more about pursuing higher education and careers. These scholarships help them as they graduate from high school and this program, and continue on to building a successful future for themselves.

Absolutely any amount helps me reach my fundraising goal (yes even a single dollar) and has the ability to make a ~significant~ impact in the life of one our scholarship recipients.
