With the rising tide of violent hate crimes, racial violence is at the forefront of our consciousness. Our newsfeeds are full of acts of racial violence and misogyny, of mass murder, and even of the extremist ideology and hate that underwrite new voter suppression laws.
It seems right that we reflect on what love has to do with this. What will it take to heal the violence, the hate, the intolerance? How can love play a part in healing our deep, open wounds?
The executive director for Center for Domestic Peace, will join in conversation with Valarie to dig deeper into her vision of love as a force for social change. We will reflect on this moment, and consider what can be reformed and what can re-imagined through the lens of love. Tickets are $50. Click on the GREEN button, in the upper right, for tickets. You will be sent a link to join.
