I invite you to support Center for Domestic Peace. (C4DP)
As many of you know, C4DP means so much to me and my family as their shelter was the first home free of violence for my daughters and me. This is where I received the tools that helped me raise my daughters and inspired me to become an agent of change in my community.
Thank you.

This pandemic has had a devastating effect on our community, and especially on families and individuals experiencing domestic
violence. Over this past year, our
bilingual hotline saw unprecedented levels of individuals experiencing
hardship, trauma, and isolation, increasing the stress and demands on
our staff who
are tirelessly working to create new ways to support those in need.
Despite these ongoing challenges, Center for Domestic Peace is stronger than ever, thanks to supporters in our
community like you. Our event offers you a special way to connect with our work and make an impact, right here in Marin County. We think our speaker, who uses LOVE as a force for change, is the right message at the right time!
Join us for a virtual fundraiser as Valarie shares her personal journey as a mother and civil rights leader, and why she founded the Revolutionary Love Project. She will also 'sit' with our Executive Director, Donna Garske, for a thought-provoking conversation as part of the program. It will be a night of storytelling, solidarity, and inspiration.
Valarie leads the Revolutionary Love Project
to reclaim love as a force for justice in America. With degrees from
Stanford University, Harvard Divinity School, and Yale Law School, and
as a lawyer, filmmaker, and innovator, she has won policy change on
multiple fronts – hate crimes, racial profiling, immigration detention,
solitary confinement, Internet freedom, and more.
“We are birthing a future where love is a force for justice.”
