The Lokahi Learning Center began with a generous grant from the National Benevolent Association with the Christian Church (DOC) and is an outreach program/center of Wahiawa Christian Church Disciples of Christ. At the learning center we nurture our connection with one another and the earth while discovering our uniqueness, celebrating our diverse stories, honoring our similarities, and experiencing unity in community.

We make a positive impact in our community by:

*Demonstrating greater respect and compassion for one another and the earth *Apply Lokahi as the students value the unique stories of one another *Becoming facilitators and ambassadors for the well-being of humanity *Increasing a positive self-concept and sense of self-worth through gardening, creative arts, fine arts, life-skills, and developing entrepreneurs.
