I'm participating again this year in the Walk for Hope to raise funds for our local pregnancy resource center. (Full disclosure: I've served on the Board of Directors for 3 years now and I LOVE this ministry.) Hope Medical Clinic seeks to provide real options to women and men facing an unexpected pregnancy by offering free pregnancy tests and ultrasound screening, counseling, material support, parenting education, and loving encouragement in the context of on-going relationship. The "crazy people" participating in this event (including a few from my team, thehorizonway -- students and families connected with Horizon Christian School) are walking or even RUNNING (looking at you, Josiah) the full 21 miles. I have my sights set on a much more realistic and only half-crazy goal of walking (NOT running) halfway. Will you support me?
