World Pickleball Foundation (WPF) was founded on a simple belief: the court is one of the most powerful leadership classrooms in the world. We use the sport of pickleball to create access, build community, and develop leaders — regardless of age, background, or circumstance.

Our programming reaches two audiences with one mission. We deliver free pickleball clinics and equipment to youth in underserved communities, pairing every sport session with a leadership lesson grounded in our Foundation Five framework: Resilience, Commitment, Discipline, Intentionality, and Excellence. We also run community leagues and corporate workshops through our Play to Give model — adults play, proceeds fund free youth programming. Every paddle swung helps put a paddle in a kid's hand.

Founded by Melvin, a coach with 20 years of experience including 10 years in pickleball, and Jessie, a People & Operations leader with 14 years of HR experience, WPF is building a global community where access to the court — and the leadership skills it builds — belongs to everyone.
