In Person

Add to Calendar 2021-09-25 16:00:00 2021-09-25 18:00:00 America/New_York WV Cooks Down on the Farm Dinner Enjoy an early evening down on the farm featuring WV Cooks’ Chef Tim Urbanic of Cafe Cimino and Chef Matt Welsch of Vagabond Kitchen. This WV Cooks soiree will be held on Bop and Nana’s family farm in Chloe, WV. You may recognize Bop and Nana as Chef Tim and Melody Urbanic of Cafe Cimino, previously located in Sutton, WV. The event will be an informal sit down, plated and served dinner, including wine, with a discussion from the chefs about the food, the origins of the recipes, and the local source. Be mindful that flat shoes, sandals or sneakers are best since this is a farm and, in typical West Virginia fashion, there’s not a lot of flat ground! Since the farm is a distance away from most of our guests, we have chosen to start dinner service at 4:30 PM to allow for daylight for the drive home. We invite you to arrive as early as 4:00 PM to enjoy a stroll around the farm. Wine will be available for purchase by the bottle so you can sit and enjoy some relaxation before dinner. Tickets are $80 and include a five course dinner and glass of wine. By attending this special WV Cooks dinner, you are doing your part to help promote and support sustainable farming and gardening in West Virginia as well as your favorite West Virginia owned restaurants who are bringing to the table locally sourced West Virginia foods. *TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Ticket holders who can't make the event can transfer their tickets to others to attend.

Location details are private and will be sent along with your ticket purchase.
