WWAA has always been more than just a place to play baseball and softball — it’s where friendships are built, confidence grows, and memories are made that last a lifetime.

Thanks to the support of our families and community, league registration fees allow us to keep the organization running year after year. They help us maintain fields, provide equipment, schedule games, and keep baseball and softball accessible for hundreds of kids across our community.

But this fundraiser exists because we believe WWAA can be even more.

We want to dream bigger for the future of our league and continue building a complex and program our players deserve.

Every dollar raised during this year’s fundraiser will go directly back into improvements that benefit our players, families, coaches, and fans, including:

Field lighting for more evening games and expanded scheduling opportunities
New and improved dugouts for player safety and comfort
Upgraded batting cages and training areas
Landscaping and beautification projects throughout the complex
More accessible and family-friendly restroom improvements
Continued investment into our umpire program, including better training, development, and recruitment efforts
And many more future improvements as we continue to grow

Our 2026 WWAA Fundraiser will officially begin on May 14 and run through Thursday, May 28 at midnight, and we’re excited to make it a fun experience for everyone involved. Throughout the fundraiser, we’ll have prizes, competitions, games, and reward opportunities to keep players and families engaged while helping support the future of WWAA.

This year’s top fundraisers will also have a chance to participate in a special Field of Dreams presentation during WWAA Night at the Ballpark with the Omaha Storm Chasers on May 30.

The top 10 fundraising families who raise the most money during the campaign will earn the opportunity to participate in the on-field experience before the game — and the top fundraising family overall will receive the honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and taking the field with the Omaha Storm Chasers during the 1st inning of WWAA Night at the Ballpark.

The reality is simple: maintaining a league is one thing — building something truly special for future generations is another.

That’s what this fundraiser is about.

We have big plans for the future of WWAA, and every donation — no matter the size — helps move us closer to creating the best experience possible for every child who walks onto our fields.
