In 2020, AM Davies started “Yes, a Stripper Podcast”. After a year of doing the podcast by themselves, they opened up the platform to other hosts, which include Onyx Sachi, Daisy Ducati and GiGi Holliday. Collectively, this crew, along with Makenzie Mizell, produced over 150 episodes in which all types of sex workers have been interviewed. It’s become a place for sex workers to come to to tell their stories.

We changed our name to YAS Work for several reasons. The first, we wanted to be more inclusive, as the original name gave the impression that we only interviewed strippers, when in fact we were interviewing all kinds of sex workers. The second reason was not wanting to have the word 'stripper' in our business name, URL's or social media handles due to digital discrimination. YAS stands for 'Yes a stripper' or 'Yes a sex worker'.

We have expanded outside of podcast interviews and now produce panels and other informational media materials to educate the public about sex work and workers.
