Doing an icy plunge has been on my bucket list for a while. This year, in honor of my 50th, I’m going for it. But, not just because I’m turning 50. YMCA Camp Sloper has given so very much to my family. Being a Sloper counselor was my son’s first job last summer and an experience like no other. He thrived. His campers thrived. And he has made lifelong friends with his colleagues. So amazing! Raising money for camp scholarships through this event is the perfect way for us to give back AND pay it forward.
