Dear Family, Friends, Colleagues, and Supporters.

We, the Giving Hands Foundation (GHF) and the GSA Road Youth (GRY) Soccer Academy family in partnership with the Briggs family, are in urgent need of help, for one of our kids, Bobby Briggs, a bright 15-year-old from Liberia who is facing a life-threatening battle with sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. Bobby has enormous potential in both academics and athletics, but his current health is not good and the chances of him getting the needed medical attention in Liberia is limited.

For months, Bobby’s illness went undiagnosed due to limited medical resources in Liberia. It wasn’t until a visiting doctor identified that the illness was due to cancer that we fully understood the severity of his condition. Unfortunately, Bobby’s illness has progressed to a critical stage, and local medical facilities in Liberia are unable to provide the care he urgently needs. Therefore, we have been told to get Bobby out of Liberia ASAP to seek the appropriate medical attention needed to fight the Sarcoma.

We have found a medical facility in India that is ready to offer the treatment Bobby requires, but time is of the essence. Bobby must be transported to India immediately for further evaluation and the appropriate advanced treatment to save his life.

The costs of treatment, travel for Bobby and his father, hospital stays, and specialized procedures are overwhelming, and we can’t do this alone. We’re asking for your support—any donation, large or small, will go directly towards his life-saving care. If you can or you are unable to donate, please help by sharing this message with others who may be able to assist in any little way. Your support is needed, as we seek to save Bobby’s life.
