Building Art is an annual fundraiser performance for our BWR building. While funds are allocated to the upkeep and improvement of our studios, Building Art also serves as a unique performance opportunity for our pre-professional dancers. Our more advanced students are afforded the chance to choreograph their own works on their fellow peers, "building" upon their leadership skills and artistry.

Founded in 1962, Ballet Western Reserve has grown to become the region's premier non-profit dance academy training children, teenagers, and adults in the art of dance. Many of these young people have gone to advanced study in some of the nation's prestigious schools and universities and have launched successful professional careers with major companies and as respected instructors.

At BWR, we engage students in a graduated level of study in classical ballet, as well as other styles of dance to promote the development of a versatile dancer.

Our program accommodates both the dance student seeking a pre-professional level of training and those seeking recreational dance as a creative outlet.
