About Asylum Pride House

Working towards a world where every LGBTQIA+ asylum-seeking immigrant is welcomed, supported, and affirmed as their most authentic selves.

Asylum Pride House was founded in 2022 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the mission to provide transitional housing, case management services, and necessary initial resources to LGBTQ+ asylum-seeking immigrants in Philadelphia PA.

In these challenging times, the need for our services and community building is greater than ever. During 2025, Asylum Pride House welcomed 15 LGBTQIA+ asylum-seeking individuals into our housing program and supported 40 individuals through our case management services.

Our team continues to evolve our support services to meet the needs of queer immigrants. Most recently in the past year this included expanding our case management services to non-housing clients, honing our wellness and healing activities and launching our immigration apprehension and detention response initiatives. Asylum Pride House continues to work on the frontline of immigration, striving to be a steadfast safe landing and supportive guide for LGBTQIA+ newcomers.
