Bhikkhuni Transportation

Support for transportation for Dhammadarini to be actively engaged and connected with our local & international communities, and to welcome short- and long-term visiting and resident monastics

This campaign will fund:

• Domestic travel expenses
  • for Dhammadharini bhikkhunis to join bhikkhuni programs elsewhere in California, the US, and Canada
  • for Dhammadharini bhikkhunis to be able to go for guided fully supported retreats
  • for Dhammadharini bhikkhunis to be able to go for teachings of great teachers offered outside the San Francisco Bay Area
  • for DD to be able to invite bhikkhunis elsewhere in North America (especially but not only senior bhikkhuni teachers) to be able to come to Dhammadharini for offering teachings and programs
  • to be able to attend and present at Conferences when invited
  • to be able to give teachings when/where invited
• International travel expenses
  • for all of the above purposes
  • the ability to take annual pilgrimages after Vassa, which are a part of Bhikkhuni Vinaya
  • to support, connect with and guide Dhammadharini's international projects and offshoots, including Cuba, Sri Lanka, and Korea
• Welcoming visiting monastics
  • enables the bhikkhunis from abroad, who wish to come to study and train here at Dhammadharini, to be able to do so
  • it funds visa application fees and both local and international transportation expenses
  • it also would fund the travel expenses of any long-term R1 Religious Worker Bhikkhunis to be invited by Dhammadharini
