Race Date Update

Due to the extent of the winter storm and current course conditions, the Break the Dam Run Series 5K / 10K has been rescheduled from Saturday, January 31 to Saturday, February 28.

This decision was made with participant safety in mind and to ensure the best possible race experience for all runners and walkers. All registrations will automatically transfer to the new race date—no action is required.

Registration will remain open and has been extended to allow additional participants to sign up and take part in the event.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing you on February 28.

From “Dam to Damn Bar 10K” to the “Break the Dam Run Series”

What began as a local 10K among the Fort Mill PAX & friends—running from the Catawba River Dam to The Print Shop by Amor Artis—has grown into a purpose-driven community event. The Break the Dam Run Series represents that evolution: breaking barriers like comfort, complacency, and isolation, and running with purpose through the Hands & Feet Initiative.

Each year we partner with a local charity and continue to fund the F3 Fort Mill Community Scholarship, supporting students right here in our community. This year’s partner: The Fort Mill Care Center, which provides food, utility, and financial assistance to local families in need.

Same camaraderie, competition, and community spirit
Expanded options — 5K, 10K, Ruck 5K, and Ruck 10K
