Bronx Mutual Aid is a weekly free food, clothing, books, and supplies distribution program in the South Bronx.

Every Saturday, we serve 200-300 neighbors at St. Mary's Park.

We provide:

• Fresh hot food, cooked every week
• Fresh produce and groceries
• Clothing and shoes
• Books for children and adults
• Toiletries and hygiene supplies
• Survival supplies including blankets and tents when available
• Harm reduction supplies, including Narcan

We also organize weekly revolutionary political education because meeting immediate needs and building political consciousness are both necessary.

Everything is free.

No paperwork. No ID. No requirements.

Just neighbors taking care of each other.

Every saturday takes work

What happens on Saturday starts long before the tables go up.

Volunteers spend the week sourcing food, collecting donations, transporting supplies, organizing inventory, cooking meals, coordinating volunteers, maintaining storage, and preparing for distro.

Many of the meals we serve are still cooked with ingredients purchased by volunteers themselves, often using their own food stamps.

Every Saturday only happens because people continue stepping up together.

• Books, hygiene supplies, and other essentials

We're currently raising funds for:

• A commercial rice cooker
• A large caldero for hot food
• Weekly food ingredients
• Water and food containers

These investments help us continue feeding hundreds of neighbors every week while making our hot food operation more sustainable.

Where we are now

What began as a small neighborhood effort has become something hundreds of people rely on every week.

Neighbors now expect Bronx Mutual Aid to be there every Saturday.

Our challenge is no longer getting started.

Our challenge is sustaining and strengthening what we've built.
