Raising money to maintain our Air Purifier lending library and start work on COVID-conscious community projects
Community care = radical love!
We at Clean Air Solidarity are thrilled to have been making a difference in our little corner of the world since 2024.
We make events in the DC area more COVID-safe by offering a free lending library of HEPA air purifiers, and we plan to expand our efforts to other COVID-conscious community projects soon.
Imagine a world where we lived being mindful of the most vulnerable, and prioritized the well being of all.
We have been let down by our government again and again, and must take matters into our own hands. We must do our best to prevent the spread, to break the chain of transmission, to save lives, and prevent more millions of people having to live with long COVID - with no cure in sight.
COVID prevention is a disability justice issue. It is a racial justice issue. It is a queer justice issue. The consequences of this pandemic have been exasperated by capitalism, by ever-increasing class inequality.
Many of us are connecting the dots. We are so grateful to all those who speak out and highlight the interconnectivity of all.
It is so inspiring to see little pockets of people around the country contributing to radical love - rejecting the ableism, apathy, cognitive dissonance, and recklessness that we have seen run rampant since the start of this pandemic.
Thanks to all the generous donations we have received, we have been able to purchase multiple high quality HEPA air purifiers and replacement filters, fund a storage unit, and cover other costs associated with running a free HEPA air purifier lending library, for over a year now.
We are currently working on expanding into additional COVID-conscious community efforts, and look forward to sharing these as we continue to evolve!
Any amount you can afford to contribute is greatly appreciated and will be spent with care and full transparency. Our Instagram page will be updated as funds are used.
Thank you so much and stay safe!
