Since 2018, our seasonal H-2B Visa workers from Jamaica have been an integral part of the Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard family. They greet our guests with warmth and laughter and make every season at the Mill possible—supporting our full-time team and embodying the spirit of hospitality that defines us.
Now, some of our cherished teammates are facing hardship at home. Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica with destructive winds and flooding, leaving several of our employees and their families with damaged homes and lost belongings.
Our friends and customers have asked how they can help—and this fund is the answer.
Every dollar raised will go directly to our affected Jamaican team members to help them rebuild roofs, replace essentials, and restore a sense of normal life.
How the Fund Works
Why It Matters
Our Jamaican crew isn’t just a workforce—they’re family and community. Their dedication, laughter, and hard work help us share the traditions of the Mill with tens of thousands of visitors each year.
Now it’s our turn to support them through this difficult time.
Your contribution will have a real and immediate impact—helping good people repair homes, replace essentials, and rebuild stability after the storm.
To thank our generous donors, we’ve created several appreciation levels—ranging from Fly Creek gift cards to signed cookbooks and exclusive tasting experiences. See the donation options on this page for details.”
Together, we can show our Jamaican family that the Fly Creek Cider Mill community stands with them—today and always.
