Together, We Can Rebuild Our Community

Over the last few months, our small but dedicated team has been working on the front lines in Bat Cave, NC, and Saluda—two of the hardest-hit areas by Hurricane Helene. These communities, devastated by the storm, are in desperate need of help. But even in the face of overwhelming destruction, we’ve witnessed the power of hope, resilience, and community.

Our team has been putting everything we have into supplying, clearing, and rebuilding what was lost. We’ve seen firsthand how much it means to the families here when someone shows up to help, when they know they’re not forgotten. It’s been humbling and life-changing for all of us involved.

While we’ve shared our journey on social media, rolling up our sleeves and doing the work without fanfare, we now realize the urgent need for proper fundraising to continue this mission. We’ve started the process of establishing our own 501(c)(3), but right now, the need is urgent—and we can’t do it alone.

For over two months, our team has been self-funding every effort. Hero to Handyman, Colt Truesedale, has been with us since September 28th, leading the charge with unwavering faith and determination. We believe that this mission is part of a bigger plan, and we are committed to seeing it through, no matter the challenges we face.

The road ahead is still long. But with your support, we’ve already made a difference in Rutherford, Polk, Henderson, and Avery Counties—areas others have avoided because of the scale of the damage. But there is so much more to be done. We urgently need volunteers, supplies, and heavy equipment to continue our work of clearing debris and rebuilding lives.

This is a call to action, a call to all who believe in the power of community and the strength we find when we come together. Every dollar, every donation of time, every piece of equipment—makes a world of difference. We can’t do this without you.
