The Kosher Giving project was born through the challenges and opportunities of the Iron Swords Hamas-Israel War, with the goal of providing donors with the tools to answer the questions above. First, we launched the KosherGiving.com website. Now, we launch the book, written by Editor-in-Chief Avi Zimmerman. The book’s title: Kosher Giving: 4 Steps to Creating Your Meaningful, Mindful and Measurable Philanthropy Plan.

KosherGiving.com is the fruit of a collective desire to help philanthropists navigate the complex landscape of charitable initiatives in Israel, especially during this critical time. Our team at Sector4 Strategy, an Israel-based impact firm, understands the importance of having a centralized platform that not only highlights deserving projects, but assists donors in prioritizing charitable giving for maximum impact.

Our dedicated team of volunteers searches for projects that align with our mission to provide aid, support, and hope to those affected by the ongoing conflict. By carefully curating a selection of Israeli based initiatives that uphold ethical standards and deliver tangible, positive outcomes, we can promote purposeful projects in need of your support right now.

But the Kosher Giving project does more than sharing worthy and trustworthy causes. As needs persist, donors and funders want to know how they can be more purposeful and more impactful. Beyond the vetting of projects, we provide donors with meaningful, mindful and measurable tools to give better.

The Kosher Giving book is a user-friendly how-to book rooted in heritage and designed to inspire better giving practices universally. Our endorsers have referred to the book as “the Startup Nation of philanthropy”, “timeless and sound guidance”, a “practical guide not just for the wealthy philanthropist but for everyone who wants to be faithful stewards”, and “a clear, succinct and impassioned plan for giving to Israel “for such a time as this”.
