Systemic redlining is a disease that has been used to exclude the Black community from the critical resources required to start, grow, and scale viable businesses.

We are calling on individuals & organizations who are prioritizing economic equity to support the Reverse the Red Movement and uplift underserved businesses. With your charitable contribution, you will be providing BIPOC entrepreneurs with equity not linked to debt and providing financial literacy & financial education to BIPOC businesses

Reverse the Red: Pitch Competition

At BBIF, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in entrepreneurship. We believe that every brilliant idea should have the opportunity to thrive. That's why we launched the Reverse the Red (RTR) Pitch Competition, a powerful initiative designed to empower BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) startups and propel them toward success.

About the Reverse the Red Pitch Competition:

The RTR Pitch Competition is more than just a competition; it's a journey of transformation and empowerment. Here's how it works:

Grant Capital for Growth: We provide grant capital to BIPOC startups, giving them the financial support they need to expand their businesses and make a lasting impact on their communities.

Specialized Mentorship: Our finalists have the privilege of working closely with experienced business consultants from BBIF. These mentors offer specialized guidance to prepare our finalists for the ultimate pitch.

Enhancing Key Skills: Through mentorship, we help finalists enhance their brand storytelling, refine their pitch decks, improve their data presentation skills, and develop a strong foundation for capital-raising.

Confident Pitch Delivery: After completing the educational sessions, our finalists emerge as confident and articulate entrepreneurs ready to present their ideas to the world.

Ongoing Support: The journey doesn't end with the competition. All finalists receive ongoing mentorship from our dedicated business development consulting team. They also gain access to a wide range of other services provided by BBIF.
