What will your DAF do this DAF Day?

At Community Music Center, music has a way of being passed along. A child sits down at a piano for the first time, and years later a parent who once sat in the audience decides it's finally their turn. A teenager plays Bach on the same recital stage where a four-year-old just played "Twinkle, Twinkle," and the whole room cheers for both. Kids watch their parents nervously step onstage, and they're the proudest ones in the room. For more than 100 years, CMC has been a place where everyone can make music side by side, and where it's never too early or too late to begin.

Today, on DAF Day, you can help keep that circle going. Last year, more than 80 donors supported CMC through their donor-advised funds, and we'd love to see that community grow this year. Every DAF gift helps keep lessons, classes, and ensembles open to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay, so everyone who walks through our doors can find a place here.

Recommending a grant takes just a few minutes. Select "Donor Advised Fund" as your payment method when making your donation on this page or log in to your DAF provider, search for Community Music Center (EIN 94-1156270), and choose your amount.

When you give from your DAF, you're bringing music not just to one student or one family, not just to one generation, but to our whole community.

Community Music Center (CMC) was founded in 1921 with the mission of making high-quality music accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, regardless of financial means. Last year, CMC served more than 3,500 students and awarded $3 million in tuition assistance.
