At École Saint-Landry, students from across our parish come together for something rare: a tuition-free public education where they learn and grow in two languages.

For many, this is their first school experience. Some arrive still learning their letters. Some come from homes with limited resources. And yet, step inside our classrooms and you’ll see something powerful:

Kindergarteners speaking French.
Students building confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Children discovering that they are capable of more than they ever imagined.

We’re not just teaching French. We’re opening doors.

Our students develop strong academic skills, confidence as communicators, and a deeper connection to Louisiana’s cultural heritage. They leave us on a path toward bilingualism, high school credit, and the Seal of Biliteracy.

But a school like this requires more than public funding.

As a charter school, we receive fewer resources, yet we choose to offer more: enrichment programs, field trips, small-group support, and a growing campus to serve more families each year.
