In memory of Christiaan and to honor Brewer and bully breeds everywhere, we’ve set a new goal of $20,000. Every dollar helps us give more deserving dogs the love, care, and second chance they deserve. 💙🐾

We are honored to officially launch the Friends of Brewer Clear the Shelter fundraiser — a heartfelt mission to raise $15,000 by May 8, 2025, to cover the adoption fee of every single dog (and then some) at the Humane Society of Calvert County, a cause that holds deep meaning for all of us.

On May 8, 2024, the world lost an extraordinary person far too soon — Christiaan Conover. Christiaan was known for his kindness, generosity, and his unwavering love for animals, especially his beloved rescue dog Brewer, who he adopted from the Humane Society of Calvert County in June 2019. His final act of love was making sure Brewer was safe — a testament to his beautiful spirit.

In his memory, we are asking you to help us continue that love and compassion.
