Keeping local news alive in the Kearsarge-Sunapee Region of NH

Residents in the Kearsarge-Sunapee area understand how important it is to be connected to the community through their local newspaper.

Many of the local businesses are long-time weekly advertisers who know the value of their investment in this kind of journalism. We objectively cover the towns in the Kearsarge-Sunapee region, a tight-knit group of central New Hampshire towns around Lake Sunapee I am proud to be a part of.

The InterTown Record is printed every week except the last Tuesday of the year by a New Hampshire press. We rest for a week and come back in the new year refreshed and ready to cover the local news.

Two special editions are printed each year, the Summer Guide to the Kearsarge-Sunapee Region and the InterTown Record Holiday Guide. Both of these guides supplement our ability to get the local news out to readers each week.

For each publication the advertising revenue is our main source of funding. We’ve cut back the size of the paper to stretch the advertising dollars coming in, but we will not be able to print a summer/fall guide this year due to the COVID-19 virus.

Please consider a tax-deductible donation to ensure this locally-owned newspaper can continue to serve the New Hampshire communities of Andover, Bradford, Elkins, Georges Mills, New London, Newbury, Springfield, Sunapee, Sutton, Warner and Wilmot.
