There are teens right now—many in foster care or unstable environments—who are carrying far more than they should have to carry.

Stress. Responsibility. Fear. Uncertainty.

And most of the time… they carry it alone.

💛 What We’re Building

Through New Dawn Christian Wellness Services, we are launching a 3-day residential camp designed specifically for teens ages 13–15 who need a safe place to breathe, learn, and grow.

This is not just a camp.

👉 It is a fully supported, structured experience where every need is met so teens can focus on something they rarely get the chance to focus on:

learning how to understand themselves, build resilience, and develop real-life coping skills

🧠 What Teens Will Gain

During this 3-day experience, participants will:

Learn practical coping strategies to manage stress and anxiety
Build resilience through real-life, hands-on experiences
Participate in small group mentorship (1 adult to 3 teens)
Engage in meaningful activities like cooking, fishing, and guided reflection
Experience a powerful moment where they realize they don’t have to carry everything alone

👉 These are not just conversations—they are skills practiced in real time, so teens leave with tools they can actually use.

Many of these teens:

Do not have consistent emotional support
Do not have access to structured life skills
Are navigating challenges far beyond their years

In Mississippi—where many communities face higher levels of poverty and limited access to resources—these gaps are even more significant.

We are changing that.

This is a fully funded experience for each teen, ensuring that no one is excluded due to financial limitations.

Your support helps provide:

🏡 Lodging for the camp
🍽️ All meals (professionally catered)
📘 Curriculum workbooks and materials
🧼 Hygiene kits and personal care items
👕 Clothing support when needed
🎣 Activities and supplies
👥 Trained mentor leaders (1:3 ratio)
🚐 Transportation to and from camp
