Our Mission

The Sayville International Film Festival (SIFF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) community-driven, industry-connected event founded by the creative minds at Cappricielli Productions. Our mission is to launch careers, drive positive social change, and foster a sustainable creative ecosystem.

​We actively seek diverse, regional and international voices, especially students, emerging, and underrepresented filmmakers. Our commitment is to showcase bold work, ensure visibility, and bring attention to the unique culture, history, and world of Long Island, New York.

​SIFF is a bridge, bringing Hollywood to Sayville, NY. We provide participants with unparalleled resources and networking opportunities, leveraging the professional relationships developed over a decade of attending markets, successful sales/acquisitions, and producing independent film.

​We offer a dedicated platform for all submissions, including already released films seeking wider theatrical screening and distribution opportunities. Join us on the beautiful South Shore of Long Island, New York, as we celebrate creative vision, stimulate regional economic growth, and build toward becoming an Academy Award and BAFTA qualifying festival.
