The project started with all volunteers in 2013 with the objective of making our villages "just beautiful places to live".

With volunteers who run the program, design the flower display, provide physical labor and review the financial records, we have been able to make this project "just the way we live". One paid position is for watering and tending to the health needs of the plants. All other costs are for supplies which are kept to a minimum by reusing materials when feasible, requesting discounts, appropriate selection of flowers etc.

The project is funded by the Town of Cambridge, donations from Cambridge Village Trustees, local businesses and private citizens; In-kind donations from Jeffersonville Trustees and private citizens.

As with many other changes resulting from COVID, the Town of Cambridge has reduced funding to 50% and has requested we get more financial support in the form of donations.
