메시아닉 유대인 학교
마코르 하티크바
믿음을 지키려는 이스라엘의 어린이들이 소외되지 않도록 학비를 지원합니다. ‘마코르 하티크바’는 예루살렘의 유일한 메시아닉 초·중학교로, 토라와 신약을 함께 배우는 믿음의 공동체입니다. 복음을 가르칠 수 있는 학교지만 정부 지원은 받지 못하고 있습니다.

현재 약 140명의 학생이 매일 예수님의 이름으로 배우고 기도하고 있습니다. 원뉴맨 패밀리는 이 아이들이 꿈을 잃지 않도록 함께하고 있습니다. 여러분의 후원이 아이들의 소망이 됩니다.

"새로운 시작을 위한 교육, 밝은 미래를 위한 희망"
에티오피아계 유대인들은 '베타 이스라엘' 이라고 불리며 솔로몬과 시바 여왕으로부터 뿌리가 시작되었다고 믿습니다.
에티오피아 유대인들은 주로 아디스아바바와 곤다르 지역에 거주하고 있으며,
유대 정체성을 유지하기 위해 유대 생활 방식을 고수하며 살아가고 있습니다.
에티오피아 유대인들은 기근, 종교적 억압, 내전 등으로 오랜 시간 힘든 시기를 겪어왔습니다.

1974년 쿠테타 이후,
멩기스투 하일레 마리암 대령의 독재 정치 아래 들어가며
반유대주의가 더욱 극심해졌고, 동시에 극심한 기근이 전국을 휩쓸었습니다.
그러다 1977년 에티오피아 정부의 반대를 무릎쓰고, 에티오피아계 유대인들을 이스라엘로 데려오기 위한 알리야 작전이 시작되었고,
현재까지 약 148,700명의 에티오피아 유대인들이 이스라엘로 돌아와 새로운 삶을 시작하여 살아가고 있습니다.
에티오피아계 유대인들은 이스라엘에 도착한 후 24개 정착 센터 중 한 군데서 거주하게 되며,
최근 법안이 개정되어 최대 3년까지 정부로부터 지원을 받게 됩니다.
그러나 에티오피아는 경제적으로 매우 어려운 나라로, 많은 에티오피아계 아이들이 어린 시절 충분한 교육을 받지 못해
정착 센터의 교육 훈련 역시 쉽사리 따라가지 못합니다. 원뉴맨패밀리는 에티오피아에서 이민 온 소외 아동들이
이스라엘에서 새로운 삶을 시작할 수 있도록 교육비 지원 프로젝트를 진행합니다.

지원 대상 어린이는 4세 ~ 18세까지의 아동 및 청소년이며
이 아이들에게 양질의 교육과 새로운 나라에서의 정착과 성장 과정을 지원합니다.
이 교육 프로그램을 통해 아이들은 이스라엘의 전반적인 사회와 문화를 배울 뿐만 아니라,
히브리어 교육, 학업 강화 활동, 방과 후 활동 등을 경험하며, 청소년들에게는 직업 훈련과
사회 적응 및 복지 활동 역시 경험하며 미래에 대한 준비를 하게 됩니다.
우리의 목표는 단순히 책을 통해 글자를 배우는 것이 아닙니다.
이스라엘의 다음 세대가 사회에 건강하게 뿌리 내리고,
아이들의 꿈이 실현될 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것입니다.

Many of them spend more time worrying about daily survival than experiencing love and care.

Some children dream of going to school. Others spend their days in dark homes without even a single book. In their eyes, there is a deep longing for hope, but there are very few hands to help make that hope a reality.

We help build support networks that connect children with their local communities. Through career exploration, vocational training, and mentoring, we help children grow in a healthy way and begin to imagine a future for themselves.

From education and emotional care to career guidance, One New Man Family provides holistic support so vulnerable children can grow with strength and dignity.

How Does One New Man Family Support Vulnerable Children?

One New Man Family supports education and living expenses so that vulnerable children do not lose their dreams. We also provide psychological counseling to help them find emotional stability.

Through connections with local communities, we help create a safe and stable environment for children to grow. We also prepare for their future through career exploration and vocational education.

We provide educational opportunities so that children growing up in vulnerable environments do not lose hope for their future.

We support the living expenses of vulnerable children facing financial hardship.

03. Psychological Support

We provide professional counseling and emotional support services so children can grow in a stable and healthy emotional environment.

04. Community-Based Support

We help build social support networks so vulnerable children can become connected to their local communities and grow in a more stable environment.

05. Career Development and Vocational Training

We support career exploration, vocational training, and mentoring programs to help children prepare for their future.

Campaigns to Support Vulnerable Children

Makor HaTikvah Messianic Jewish School

We support tuition assistance so that children in Israel who desire to keep their faith are not left behind.

Makor HaTikvah is the only Messianic elementary and middle school in Jerusalem. It is a faith-based community where students learn both the Torah and the New Testament.

Although this school is able to teach the Gospel, it does not receive government funding.

Today, approximately 140 students learn and pray every day in the name of Jesus.

Ethiopian Vulnerable Children Support Project

Education for a New Beginning, Hope for a Brighter Future

Ethiopian Jews are known as Beta Israel and are believed to trace their roots back to Solomon and the Queen of Sheba.

Ethiopian Jews mainly live in the regions of Addis Ababa and Gondar. In order to preserve their Jewish identity, they have continued to live according to Jewish traditions and ways of life.

For many years, Ethiopian Jews have endured severe hardship due to famine, religious oppression, and civil war.

After the coup in 1974, Ethiopia came under the dictatorship of Colonel Mengistu Haile Mariam. During this time, antisemitism intensified, and severe famine swept across the country.

In 1977, despite opposition from the Ethiopian government, Aliyah operations began to bring Ethiopian Jews to Israel. To this day, approximately 148,700 Ethiopian Jews have returned to Israel and begun a new life there.

After arriving in Israel, Ethiopian Jews live in one of the 24 absorption centers. Under a recent revision of the law, they can receive government support for up to three years.

However, Ethiopia remains an economically difficult country, and many Ethiopian Jewish children were not able to receive sufficient education during childhood. As a result, many struggle to keep up with the educational and training programs provided at the absorption centers.

One New Man Family is carrying out an educational support project to help vulnerable children who immigrated from Ethiopia begin a new life in Israel.

The children supported through this project range from ages 4 to 18. Through this program, they receive quality education and support as they settle, grow, and adapt to life in a new country.

Through the educational program, children learn about Israeli society and culture. They also receive Hebrew language education, academic enrichment activities, and after-school programs.

Teenagers also participate in vocational training, social adaptation programs, and welfare activities as they prepare for their future.

Our goal is not simply to help children learn letters from a book.

Our goal is to help the next generation of Israel take root in society in a healthy way and to provide opportunities for children’s dreams to become reality.
