The Jeffersonville Farmer's Market is under new operation, and sowing seeds of revitalization and regeneration after a tumultuous flood season. Managed by a passionate (all volunteer) Committee, the Market’s mission is to connect our community with local agriculture and entrepreneurs. In order to create a vibrant and reputable institution that is sustainable and can keep on giving back to the community each summer, we need help from our neighbors.
We are requesting donations to help offset the administrative costs that go into running an extended season market (May-Oct.) After leasing the land, paying insurance fees, and registering with the state there is little funding left. Monetary donations will help us book talented musicians, that will offer an inviting and enjoyable ambiance at the Farmer's Market. Music is incremental to building community, creating an environment for families and individuals to hang out on the lawn and connect. We hope to continue the tradition of offering live music at Farmer's Markets throughout the season!
Your donation will directly impact the community by keeping vendor costs minimal, to encourage a wide variety of diversified offerings, supporting local entrepreneurs. The Farmer's Market is hosting Community and Youth booths this year; these booths are complimentary (available at no cost) and approved through our Board of Directors. By offering these types of booths we hope to encourage organizations and young inpsirational individuals to dip there toes into networking.
Help us make the Jeffersonville Farmer's Market a vibrant place to be this Spring, Summer and Fall! The Market will only get better with help from - you - our community.
