AFF Participant Paddle Day - Long Beach, CA Saturday, September 14th, 2024 Get ready for a splash of joy on our next Paddle Day in Long Beach! Whether you're seasoned paddler or a first-timer, there's a place for everyone on our boards. What we offer:  Either join an experienced  paddler aboard one of our WASUP (Wheelchair Adapted Stand-Up Paddle) boards for adaptive paddling alongside a team of buddy paddlers.  Or, glide and play on a traditional foam paddle board with volunteer assistant coaches that will get you out on the water at your comfort and skill level. Your adventure includes:  Expert guidance from our friendly volunteers  A safe and supportive environment  Lunch & water  The chance to challenge yourself and have a blast! Refundable Registration Fee: $25  Choose any of our five 45-minute sessions beginning at 10:00 AM Here's where your registration fee becomes extra special:  You can choose to donate your fee to support our mission of inclusive water sports  Or, have it refunded upon check-in if you prefer. Cancellations for refunds must be made by phone 48 hours in advance of your scheduled start time. This will allow us to add participants from the wait-list. Spots will fill up fast, so don't miss out on this unforgettable day of "Hope in Hearts and Smiles on Faces". We kindly ask all paddlers to arrive 15 minutes before their session to check in and ensure a smooth start to the fun. Our days are perpetually free. If the registration fee is a financial hardship, contact AFF for a waiver. We operate on the generosity of donations and the boundless enthusiasm of our volunteers.
