Comics and Books Rescue for Kids Foundation is an initiative to promote imagination, self-esteem, courage, and literacy in hospitalized children one book at a time! Our mission is to provide a combination of at least 400 comic books, activity books, and novels on a monthly basis. Our goal is to help them find the superhero within themselves while on the road to recovery. The Children's Hospital Colorado has 150 beds available for children of all ages.

All donations will go towards the following:

📚 The purchase of new, unread comic books, activity books, and novels for the Children's Hospital Colorado patients. This will also include our packaging expenses which include transit to the hospital and distribution to the patients.

🔶 Our monthly operating expenses ensure that our foundation is operating at the highest level of efficiency. This includes our insurance, software fees, website maintenance, and additional costs.

🚚 The purchasing of a dedicated delivery vehicle for the foundation. Currently, we travel as far as an hour away to pick up new books for the children, and a dedicated work van would make our mission easier to maintain.

✍ The recruitment of a professional grant writer. A skilled grant writer can help us secure funding from institutions that will provide us with long-term sustainability.
