Hearts of the Herd is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Frederick, Maryland. We provide Equine Assisted Services that support academic learning, social–emotional development, and therapeutic growth for school-aged children. Our unique programs offer an alternative approach to learning and healing, empowering youth through meaningful relationships with our equine partners.

Our mission is simple: to create a trusting, supportive, and inclusive space where individuals can experience growth, hope, and help through the power of horses. Each program is tailored to meet students where they are and help them move toward their personal goals.
