Honoring Brother Joe Scanlan By Helping the Wilson Disease Association
Our fellow Sigma Chi Brother, Joe Scanlan, was diagnosed with a very rare disease last year. It's called Wilson Disease and this condition causes the body to store harmful levels of copper, which can cause organ failure. If left untreated, this typically becomes fatal. Joe has been hospitalized for over 5 months and they expect he will remain in that state for many more months as treatment is a slow process.
In honor of Joe, we are teaming together with his family, friends and brothers from multiple Sigma Chi chapters to help raise needed funds for the Wilson Disease Association. Donations are tax deductible and go directly to the organization. It's our hope this campaign will help boost awareness of this disease and provide critical information and resources to Wilson patients globally.
Please help us honor Joe with a contribution today! It's our prayer we will exceed our goal! Thank you for your donation!
