Over the last 27 years, MTFS has addressed inequitable access to technology in the Twin Cities by placing over 100,000 computers with students and community members, allowing them to stay connected to their loved ones, their jobs, school, and MTFS programs.

Your donation will help underserved individuals gain access to essential technology. Our Tech Connect free computer placement program provides computers to Minnesota students or residents who are in need of a computer for educational or professional purposes but cannot afford one. A gift of $200 funds refurbishment and placement of one computer for a student or member of our community. With our goal of 15,000 dollars, we will be able to place 75 computers in the hands of underserved members of our community.

About us

Minnesota Computers For Schools is now Minnesota Tech for Success (MTFS), a NAID and R2 Certified nonprofit organization that refurbishes computer equipment donated by businesses and uses the equipment to provide technology access and training to schools, nonprofits and people in need. We also work in partnership with organizations to provide training and employment for individuals with special needs and have an internship program for students who complete our training program. Any equipment that cannot be used in schools or nonprofits is responsibly recycled or sold on ebay.

Your purchase makes it possible for MTFS to achieve its mission of working with schools and educationally focused organizations to provide technology access and skills training to those in need. Because of your purchase we can deliver dependable, affordable computers to schools across the nation, provide free technology certification and training to people in need and donate computers to students in need.
