The Joshua Mission is a non-profit medical mission that provides quality, no-cost medical care to the people of Western Jamaica during a week-long clinic. 

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve access to health care to the underserved in Jamaica, the Joshua Mission has been providing support for the operations of a free-standing clinic that operates for one week in Negril, Jamaica yearly since 2016. Depending on the number of volunteers we can screen an average of 600 adults in a week span.

We focus on diagnosing and treating conditions of all ages while emphasizing on preventative medicine, cardiovascular screening, healthcare education, dental and eye screening and overall health, personalized patient counseling, and wellness. We are a 100% volunteer-based organization. Our missions are staffed by dedicated medical professionals, i.e., physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, EMTs, paramedics, and medical assistants, as well as business professionals from all industries (financial, industrial, management firms, and others).

Our clinic visits are cost-valued at approximately $75 to $150 per patient; provided free of charge to all residents. Our visit includes screening for high blood pressure, diabetes, and elevated cholesterol; along with diagnostic testing, point-of-care lab testing for glucose and cholesterol; an exam by a provider, treatment plan and medications, if appropriate.
