Intro

January on campus can feel like a lot. Classes restart, routines change, and there’s often pressure to immediately be productive or “on track.” Quest on Campus created New Year, New Habits as a way to slow that down.

This is a student-led January series focused on building simple, supportive habits together. Throughout the month, we’re hosting low-pressure events where students can gather, take a breath, and be part of something steady and grounding as the semester begins.

The intention behind this series is simple: create spaces where students feel welcome, supported, and connected.

Our Intention

We’re focusing on:

Building habits through shared experiences
Supporting mental fitness in realistic, everyday ways
Creating calm spaces within busy student life
Bringing students together without expectations

Everything in this series is designed to feel accessible, you don’t need experience, goals, or a “reason” to come. Just yourself.

January Events

Vision Board Making Workshop
A casual space to reflect and create alongside other students. This is less about goal-setting and more about thinking through what matters to you right now.

Art Therapy Workshop
A guided session using creativity as a way to process and unwind. No art background needed.

Student Yoga Event
A beginner-friendly yoga class focused on movement, breath, and easing into the semester.

Quest x Intentionality Club: Workout + Meditation
A collaborative event bringing students together for light physical movement followed by guided meditation.

Why We’re Doing This

College life can feel isolating, especially at the start of a new semester. New Year, New Habits is about creating consistent, shared spaces where students can feel connected, not just for one event, but throughout the month.
