Erin Burkamp, Teacher at Carroll Senior High School, Breast Cancer

"Currently, I am being treated for HER2+ Breast Cancer, Stage II. I was diagnosed in December and I have been in treatment since January of this year. I will complete my final round of chemotherapy on May 9th, 2024. I've been fortunate enough to continue teaching at Carroll Senior High School since the beginning of my treatment, and although there have been some rough recovery days, it has been a huge blessing to be able to have some resemblance of normalcy during this time."
