At People’s Solar Energy Fund (PSEF), we envision a future where the most climate impacted communities are the innovators of a just energy system, where historically under-resourced communities are the leaders of an energy secure future, and where energy independence is in the hands of the people. At PSEF, our mission is simple: to pair critical resources – finances, technical assistance, and shared knowledge – with community-led renewable energy projects. 

Over the next five years, we’re resourcing our ecosystem through our Abundant Energy family of funds to advance economic sovereignty through shared ownership. We believe that at the right scale, this family of funds will create a sustainable engine for community-owned renewable energy, both now and into the future.

The goal? A full pathway for our members to take their projects from ideation all the way through financing, development, and full ownership, without having to rely on extractive practices to get there.
