In our 10th year as organization, A Leadership Journey's CEEP Program (Cultural Exploration and Education Program), is going to Brazil! This will be our 9th Cultural Education Journey out of the country, our 6th different country we've built community with, and the first time we will have 15 youth Global Leaders going. This marks an exciting time in our brief history, and one that we are extremely grateful to acknowledge. We know that it was not easy, but we also know because of your support every year, these journey have been worth it. Your impact has had a huge impact on every Global Leader who has participated. We do not make it to 10 without you, and we will say thank you every chance we get.

2026 will also serve as Year 2 of our 7 year Campaign; "Tracing The Thread Of Our Roots". This campaign was curated as a means to dive deeper into our identities as descendants of our ancestors who make up the diaspora. It is another opportunity for Global Leaders to connect the dots, ask questions, inquire about the roots in which they came from, or are a part of through blood ties. This campaign will continue to encourage us to think about how we are connected, and what it means to be a Global Citizen.

Since 2016, we have made our mission and our work about supporting the whole child through holistic youth development. When we sat down to discuss our WHY, we knew that young people were going to be at the forefront of why we chose to do this work. We knew that we would be dedicated to what was needed, and over the last 10 years, we have stayed true to that WHY.

We also discussed our HOW: what could we offer that would serve as a valuable resource towards their development—not only academically and in the classroom, but also professionally and in their careers. This is why our programs were created: to meet the HOW, which would address the WHY.

CEEP is a program that offers youth ages 13-18 an opportunity to explore and connect with the world beyond their immediate surroundings. Through CEEP, we provide immersive cultural experiences, educational workshops, and opportunities for personal growth, all designed to expand the perspectives of our participants. The program fosters a sense of curiosity and global awareness, encouraging young people to embrace diversity and understand different cultures. By exposing youth Global Leaders to new ideas, places, and people, we aim to inspire them to become thoughtful, engaged, and compassionate leaders in their communities.

CEEP goes beyond traditional education by offering hands-on learning experiences that are both meaningful and memorable. Global Leaders engage in activities such as cultural exchanges, tours to historical and cultural sites, and interactions with community members, community leaders and professionals. These experiences are designed to ignite a passion for learning and to inspire Global Leaders to dream bigger, think critically, and develop a deeper appreciation for the world around them.
